Yvonne and Jason started the Real Property Management Coeur D Alene franchise in April 2014 and since then have won 5 consecutive Best of Coeur D Alene for property management. How did we achieve such success in the property management field? Well a combination of the couple starting multiple small businesses in the past, being property owners themselves and partnering with a franchise with over 25 years of field expertise, Real Property Management Coeur D’Alene is what we are today.
As property owner themselves, they know the frustrations that come with managing one’s own real estate holdings; form the weekend calls about plumbing, HVAC, and lawn care to having difficult communication about rent, leases, or even evictions. When they first began managing their own properties, they had no idea of the difficulties that would arise from the various laws and regulations in play, which are constantly changing. Let alone establishing a clear tenant screening process. When this became too much to bear, they decided it was worth paying someone else to deal with the multi-faceted nature of being a property owner. They searched for property management companies. The companies had the legal knowledge, infrastructure, and the resources which they lacked at the time. However, with the companies they worked with, there often was a lack in communication and they were usually left in the dark in the dealing with their property when it came to the decisions the company was making, which can feel debilitating as their monies seemed to be slipping through their fingers.
Rather than wonder about what was happening to their properties that they had invested so much time and money into, they decided to instead learn the process themselves. They learned the law and every facet of property management, so that they could provide the best of these services for themselves and others.
Today, they confidently take great pride in securing the best tenants, keeping clients informed, and diligently addressing maintenance/repair issues, so that all properties are ready to rent when available and remain profitable.
When Jason and Yvonne purchased Real Property Management CDA, we knew that the company’s 25 years of property management experience, proven systems, and dependable standards resulted with better cash flow, reliability, and peace of mind. As of 2020 they have about 100 properties and pride themselves on being a small, quality boutique property management company. Also currently have employed two part-time professionals and a social media manager. To ensure the quality and progress of the company along with furthering their goals of providing quality jobs to those in the community. They are currently serving Coeur d’ Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Rathdrum, and Sandpoint.
